Astonishment - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. peaches
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. sugar
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Crush 1 generous cup of peaches in saucepan, extracting as much juice as possible.
Stir in cornstarch, lemon juice and sugar; simmer briefly over medium heat until clear gelatinous mixture is formed.
Let cool.
Spread into pan crust base and press, then press rest of peaches into it.
Dust with confectioners sugar and refrigerate.
