Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat together shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Mix to creamed mixture.
    Chill dough 1 hour.
    Make into 18 marble size balls.
    Dip one side in a mixture of 2 tablespoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Bake at 300\u00b0.
