Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 small crushed bananas
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
In large bowl, combine bananas, eggs, milk, baking soda and salt.
Mix well.
Add creamed sugar to banana mixture.
Blend well.
Add flour; add finely chopped nuts, if desired.
Pour in greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Makes 1 large loaf.
