Beet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 gal. beets
10 1/2 c. vinegar
4 1/2 c. water
6 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. allspice
3 sticks cinnamon
Preparation

Add sugar and spice to vinegar and water; simmer for 15 minutes, then add prepared beets in jar and fill with liquid to cover beets and seal.
