Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 to 1 c. onions
1 (7 oz.) can yellow creamed corn
1/2 tsp. sugar
2/3 c. oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1 to 1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Preparation

Combine cornmeal and flour.
Mix well.
Add 1/2 to 1 cup onions.
Add creamed corn, sugar, eggs, grated cheese, oil and cayenne pepper.
Add milk.
Mix well with spoon.
Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden brown.
Let set one hour before serving.
(The longer it sets, the better it is.)
