Aunt Ann'S Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
1 lb. raisins, cooked about 10 minutes and drained well
2 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. oleo
1 egg
1/2 lb. English walnuts
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. dates, cut in pieces
1 lb. mixed fruit
Preparation

Mix together applesauce, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda. Cream together sugar, butter and oleo.
Add egg.
Add to applesauce mixture.
Blend remaining ingredients together and add raisins. Bake in tube pans at 300\u00b0 for 1/2 hour and at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
