Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 Tbsp. baking powder
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. milk (more if needed to thin mixture)
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients; set aside.
Mix together egg and milk.
Mix dry and liquid ingredients together.
Beat until smooth.
Fill a small funnel with batter, holding finger over bottom.
Remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into hot oil.
Fry to a golden brown.
Drain on paper towel, then sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
