Steak And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 small onions, sliced
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    salt and pepper
    4 Minute cube steaks
    1 to 2 tsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cook onions very slowly in 2 tablespoons oil until golden. Remove to warm platter.
    Increase heat.
    Add remaining oil and quickly brown steaks.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Arrange on a hot platter.
    Stir flour into drippings and add water.
    Stir constantly until gravy boils.
    Serve onions and gravy over steaks. Makes 4 servings.
