Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except nutmeg, together with a whisk. Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean in middle.
