Frozen Layered Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
    3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    mayonnaise (for topping, optional)
Preparation
    Mash cranberry sauce with fork.
    Mix in lemon juice.
    Spread a little of this mixture into individual molds, paper
    muffin cups or 1 larger mold.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Spread this on top of cranberry layer.
    Freeze.
    Unmold red side up on lettuce leaves.
    May be served with a dash of mayonnaise on top.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
