Mexican Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground, lean beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    salt
    garlic powder to taste
    1 (10 oz.) can red chili sauce
    2 cans mushroom soup, diluted with 1 can of water
    1 (4 oz. or 8 oz.) can chopped green chilies (to taste)
    1 doz. corn tortillas
    3/4 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown
    ground
    beef with onion, salt and garlic powder. Add red chili sauce and simmer until tender.
