Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    your choice pieces of chicken
    salt
    flour
Preparation
    Soak the chicken pieces in salted cold water overnight if possible.
    Change the water several times.
    You may use ice to help cool the water.
    Drain the chicken.
    Salt and roll in flour.
    Use a cast-iron skillet with lid.
    Use either solid or liquid Crisco or Wesson, or any good brand.
    Cook chicken on a medium hot fire, turning often to brown evenly.
    It is important to use the lid on your skillet.
