Whole Wheat Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening until crumbly like meal.
Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
