Country Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed (1/2-inch)
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 small onions, chopped
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 1/2 c. fresh corn or 1 can (12 oz.) whole kernel corn
    4 c. beef stock
    1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    \"Put it in grease and cook it for about an hour.
