Ingredients

1 c. soft butter or margarine (2 sticks)
2/3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
red and green candied cherries
Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients well.
Blend in flour and salt. Force through Spritz gun or cookie press onto cookie sheets. Decorate with bits of cherries.
Bake in hot oven (375\u00b0) for 7 to 10 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen.
Dough can be made ahead and frozen.
