Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    15 1/2 oz. red kidney beans, drained
    14 1/2 oz. tomatoes
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    1/4 c. water
    2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. basil, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in kidney beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, salt, basil and pepper.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Makes 4 servings.
