Chicken Pot Pie(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. chicken
    2 qt. water
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1 small potato, chopped
    1/2 c. peas, thawed
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 pkg. refrigerate pie crust
    1 tsp. flour
Preparation
    Boil chicken; reserve broth.
    Remove chicken and chop.
    Skim fat from broth, reserving 2 cups broth.
    Melt margarine; add onion and next 4 ingredients.
    Cook 10 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup flour; stir until smooth.
    Add reserved broth and half and half.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened.
    Stir in chicken, pepper and thyme. Pour into 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
