Mama'S Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Scald cornmeal with 2 cups of milk until thickened.
    Add 1 unbeaten egg and stir until absorbed.
    Beat 1 egg and 1/2 cup milk together.
    Pour corn mixture into a greased dish (I use a loaf-sized glass baking dish).
    Pour the 1/2 cup of milk and egg over the corn mixture and cut with a knife.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven sides and top are brown, about 1 hour.
