Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates
    1 qt. frozen strawberries
    1 medium can crushed pineapple
    3 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Simmer dates and pineapple.
    Blend.
    Return to saucepan and boil.
    Add
    arrowroot mixed with water to mixture in pan. Simmer until
    thick.
    Blend berries slightly.
    Add to mixture and cool. Store in refrigerator.
    Can be frozen.
