Monterey Spinach Melt - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and patted dry
    1/3 c. chopped carrot
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    20 French bread slices, 1/4-inch thick
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cut cheese into 20 thin slices; cover and set aside.
    In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, salt and garlic; mix until well blended.
    Stir in spinach, carrot onion.
    Spread rounded tablespoonful spinach mixture into each bread slice.
    Place on baking sheet; top with cheese.
    Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is crisp.
    Serve warm.
