Breakfast Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 refrigerated 9-inch pie crust
6 oz. shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese
4 oz. crumbled turkey sausage
1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. chopped pepper
4 large eggs or cholesterol-free egg product equivalent
3/4 c. low-fat milk (2%)
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of freshly ground pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prick crust several times with fork. Line with aluminum foil.
Bake until lightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes.
Place crust on rack to cool completely.
Reduce oven heat to 375\u00b0.
Place half the cheese in the baked pie shell.
Top evenly with sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper.
Sprinkle evenly with remaining cheese.
