Debbie'S Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 cans (11 oz. size) Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can pears, drained and chopped
    3 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
    2 large unpeeled apples, chopped
    1 c. pecan halves (optional)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve juice.
    Set pineapple aside.
    Pour juice into small saucepan.
    Add sugar and flour; bring to a boil. Quickly stir in egg; cook until thickened.
    Remove from heat. Cool; refrigerate.
