Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1 medium onion, optional
salt
pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
Preparation

Place potatoes in large pot covered with water.
Boil until tender and add corn.
In large skillet, fry bacon until done. Place on paper towel to drain.
Saute onion in drippings until tender.
Remove from heat; add flour, stir over medium heat until bubbly.
Remove from heat, add milk, heat to boiling for one minute.
Add to potatoes in pot.
Cook until all heated thoroughly.
Serve in bowl and sprinkle with bacon.
