Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter (room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour (1 1/2 c. self-rising, 1 1/2 c. plain)
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    6 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Flour nuts with 1/2 cup flour mixture. Mix ingredients in order given.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes or until done.
