Best-Ever Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Line pastry shell with pecans. Set aside. Blend sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Pour mixture over pecans and dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
