Homemade Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes, pared and cut into bite-sized pieces
    2 onions, chopped
    1 carrot, pared and sliced
    1 stalk celery, sliced
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    4 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (13 oz.) can milk
    chopped chives
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in a 4-quart pan, except milk.
    Bring to a boil, then turn heat down and simmer until vegetables are done. Add milk last.
