Christmas Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. raisins
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. allspice
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
Preparation
    Boil water, Crisco and raisins 5 minutes; set aside to cool. Mix together in a large bowl the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, baking soda and salt.
    When water, Crisco and raisins mix have cooled, add to flour mixture; stir in 3 eggs, one at a time, then add 1 cup chopped nuts.
    Bake for 1 hour at 375\u00b0. Use a greased tube cake pan.
