Cordon Bleu(German) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 thin pork steaks (boneless)
12 thin slices cooked ham
6 slices Swiss cheese
dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
cooking oil
Preparation

Flatten steaks to 1/4-inch thickness.
On each of 6 steaks, place 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, then another slice ham, trimming ham and cheese to make smaller than pork steak.
Cover with remaining steak.
Press edges together to seal.
Season both sides of pork.
In shallow bowl, beat eggs and milk together.
Dip pork with egg mixture, then coat completely with bread crumbs. Heat 1/2-inch oil in skillet.
Cook coated pork in hot oil until golden brown.
Put in large baking pan.
Finish cooking in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Serve with tossed salad.
