Western Perfection Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shredded raw carrots
    3/4 c. shredded raw cabbage
    3/4 c. diced celery
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Add cold water, vinegar and salt.
    Chill.
    When gelatin becomes thick and syrupy, add remaining ingredients.
    Turn into 1-quart shallow pan.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut in squares and serve on a bed of lettuce with mayonnaise.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
