Old-Fashioned Molasses Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. molasses
1 c. milk
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix together the molasses and milk in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix both flours, sugar, baking soda, salt and nuts; stir quickly into liquid, mixing until just blended.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch pan.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Cool in pan before slicing.
Makes 1 loaf.
