Pasta With Peppers And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) jar marinated artichoke hearts, cut into pieces
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 green and/or red peppers
    water
    1/2 lb. linguine
    6 to 8 garlic cloves, minced
    1 c. sliced black olives
    1 lb. shrimp, shelled
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. red pepper flakes
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    juice of 1 lemon
    freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Strain marinade from artichokes and pour with olive oil into pan.
    Saute peppers until limp.
    While they are cooking, boil water in another big pot and cook pasta al dente.
    When peppers are cooked, add garlic, olives, shrimp, salt and red pepper flakes.
    Saute until garlic is cooked.
    When pasta is cooked, drain and toss with contents of pan along with artichokes, cheese and lemon juice.
    Season with freshly ground pepper.
    Serves 4.
