Euricka'S Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. sour cream
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar gradually; continue beating.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Combine sour cream and soda; set aside.
    Combine flour and nutmeg.
    Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture. Add sour cream mixture and vanilla; mix well.
    Chill dough 1 hour. Roll dough, about 1/3 at a time, to desired thickness, about 1/8-inch thick.
    Cut with 2-inch cookie cutters.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Frost and decorate as desired.
    Makes 16 dozen.
