Baked Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bacon
1/4 c. onion, grated
1 (No. 2 1/2) can Libby's sauerkraut
1 1/4 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs (I use a little less)
Preparation

Dice and fry bacon until crisp.
Add grated onion and cook until lightly browned.
Add sauerkraut that has been rinsed and well drained.
Place in casserole.
Pour tomato juice over top. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes.
Yields 5 cups.
