Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 green pepper, chopped
    8 Tbsp. butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 cooked chicken, diced
    1 can pimento, chipped
    1 large can mushrooms, drained
    Nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    Saute peppers in three tablespoons of butter. Melt remaining butter in saucepan; blend in flour. Stir in milk gradually; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients; heat through. Serve on toast. Makes 8 servings.
