Hot And Spicy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. iodized salt
    small pickling cucumbers
    hot pepper to taste
    fresh sprig of dill weed or 1 tsp. dill seed (per pt. jar)
    garlic cloves
Preparation
    In bottom of jar, place dill sprig, hot peppers and garlic, sliced thin (2 to 3 toes).
    Pack jar firmly with cucumbers.
    Bring vinegar, water and salt to a rolling boil.
    Turn down to simmer 5 to 7 minutes, then pour into jars.
    Seal.
    Yields 5 to 7 pints.
