7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    shredded lettuce
    frozen peas
    broccoli
    green peppers
    green onions
    shredded carrots
    grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits
    mayonnaise
Preparation
    In order as they are written, layer the ingredients in a large salad bowl:
    lettuce, peas, broccoli, green peppers, onions, carrots, cheese, bacon bits and top with a thick layer of mayonnaise.
    Garnish with remainder of cheese and bacon bits. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving, overnight is best.
