"Irish Stew" - Steak Soup(Serves 8 To 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. flour
    1/2 gal. water
    2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped carrot
    1 c. drained, chopped tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. McCormick beef flavor base
    1/2 Tbsp. pepper
    1 c. potatoes
    1 c. green beans or peas or both
    1 c. corn
Preparation
    Add more potatoes, if needed.
    Add all ingredients to water mixture.
    Bring to boil and then simmer for 1 or 2 hours.
