Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    4 egg yolks
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, eggs and egg yolks; beat 3 minutes on high speed.
    Add vanilla and 1/2 of the flour; beat 2 minutes.
    Pour in milk and beat another minute.
    Add remaining flour and baking powder and mix 1 or 2 minutes.
    Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm and springy to the touch.
