Velvet Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. maraschino cherries
2/3 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
Sift the dry ingredients.
Add sour cream to creamed mixture and add dry ingredients.
Stir in maraschino cherries and drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
