Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. canned milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix and boil to form a soft ball in cold water.
Stir quickly.
This is set and will get hard, so watch as it thickens. This works well on apple cake.
