Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, sliced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. shredded carrots
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in boiling salted water for 5 minutes and drain.
    Combine soup, sour cream and carrots.
    Stir into drained, cool squash mixture.
    Combine stuffing with butter in saucepan over low heat.
    Spread half of stuffing mix in 4-quart baking dish.
    Spoon squash over dressing mix and top with rest of dressing mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serves 12.
