Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add buttermilk and egg; stir. Add melted shortening; mix and turn into greased iron skillet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
