Squash Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 squash
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 egg
    1/4 stick oleo
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water with salt. Drain and mash.
    Add egg, oleo, cheese, pepper and 1/2 the cracker crumbs.
    Mix well and shape into balls.
    Roll balls in remaining cracker crumbs.
    Fry in deep fat.
