Ingredients

3 c. water
1 c. cider vinegar
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. dried prunes
1 tsp. whole cloves, with heads removed
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 1/2 sticks cinnamon
Preparation

Simmer about 1 hour or until prunes are plump.
Place the prunes in a jar and drain the liquid over them to cover, straining out the spices.
