Barbecued Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chuck roast
    shortening
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 small head cabbage, finely shredded
    buns
Preparation
    Trim fat from meat and brown in shortening in a Dutch oven. Combine all other ingredients, except cabbage and buns.
    Place meat in a roasting pan, pour sauce over it and cover.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 3 hours.
    Remove meat from oven and shred with two forks.
    Mix with sauce in pan.* When ready to serve, heat meat in sauce and serve on buns with shredded cabbage.
