Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. white flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
2 lb. round steak
1 (8 oz.) can tomato
1/2 c. onion, minced
1/4 c. green pepper, minced
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Sprinkle half the mixture on one side of the round steak and pound on.
Repeat for the other side.
Cut meat into pieces.
Melt butter in skillet and brown meat.
Cover tightly and simmer for 1 hour.
Add water, if necessary.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
