Mexican Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Beat butter at high speed until light and fluffy.
    At low speed beat in sugar, flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, vanilla and salt until just combined.
    Dough will be stiff.
    Shape into a ball. Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Roll dough into 3/4-inch balls.
    Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 minutes or until cookies are golden.
    Combine granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Roll hot cookies in mixture.
    Place on wire rack to cool.
    Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
