Sausage-Mushroom Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    butter (if needed)
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced
    1/2 c. celery, diced
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    salt and pepper
    broth to moisten
Preparation
    Cook sausage in hot skillet until well browned.
    Remove sausage from pan.
    Measure the rendered fat and if sausage has not produced 1/2 cup, add butter to make up difference.
    Return fat to pan.
    Saute mushrooms, celery and onion for 5 minutes.
    Add rest and moisten with broth.
    Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use.
