Crisp Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. sweet milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg and cinnamon
    flour
Preparation
    Flour enough to make a soft dough just stiff enough to roll out thin. Try a pint, working it in gradually. Bake in a quick oven.
    If you will press a raisin, cherry and half a pecan or anything of the kind on the top of each cake before baking it adds to the appearance of the cakes.
