Vanilla Wafer Cake(Torta Di Vanilla) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 c. nuts, chopped course
    7 oz. coconut, shredded
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    325\u00b0.
    Cream
    butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1
    at
    a time, alternating with milk and crushed wafers until
    all ingredients
    are
    used.
    Fold in nuts and coconut. Bake
    in greased
    and
    floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    This cake is very moist (almost wet) and rich.
    Serve with a little whipped cream, if desired.
